Virtual (Real) Estate

Weeds and encroachments, that’s what you get on vacant lots! A domain is Virtual (Real) Estate. Don’t let it rot. Earn income from your domain while it ages and also increase it’s value and rankings.

Yes, it is possible, to easily earn decent passive income from your virtual property – domain names, while at the same time gaining SERPs and appraisal value. You can do it, either yourself (if you have the time and inclination) or you can engage the many web designers and developers or specialists to do this for your domains. It doesn’t cost a fortune these days to develop a domain with useful content and good search engine optimization. (SEO is required because that’s where you will get the FREE traffic from). The domains I got developed gave back the investment within a few months and most of them turned up in SERP page 1 for my keywords within 6 months. What I get now is plain profit.

Of course, there are a few simple rules and techniques that do the trick. Foremost being getting a good domain name. Bad names just don’t work, unless you have the resources like Google or Yahoo, when the package, not the name becomes important.

How do you analyze a domain name if it’s good or not? Well, the first look is definitely one of the factors, though not the end of it. The name must be catchy, meaningful and state its purpose clearly – that’s when it will be easily recalled (by us Humans) and indexed (by Search Engines). If the domain name is short, that’s good though not very important nowadays. Top SERPs have been achieved by domains with 2, 3 or even 4 keywords in the name.

Sorry dear readers, gotta go! This (useful) blah blah will continue…
